She is tough and guarded with "walls up" ; fiercely loyal to her late brother’s memory to the point she is going to keep her promise to prove her little brother’s theory on UFOs is correct and due to her family’s griefs over the passing of her little brother she all the freedom in the world because her parents are just consumed with lost to pay much attention to her. She is the leader of the group of adventurers and at first doesn’t want Eli around because it is too much of a reminder of what she has lost but evidently softens and welcomes Eli into their fellowship.
